The Bachelor Package

I’ll be your student’s senior year coach! I’ll walk your student through every part of the college application process, deadlines, and submissions.

The Master Package

Similar to the Bachelor, but starting Junior year, this also includes course selection for senior year and major selection.

The Ph.D. Package

I’ll be your student’s personal high school counselor. Starting during freshman or sophomore year and honing in on everything post-secondary.

How can a college counselor help?

A College Counselor uses strategies that empower students to make well thought out decisions surrounding their post-secondary endeavors. The college application process can be daunting, but a College Counselor can help coach, organize, prepare, and most importantly cheer your student on throughout the process. Your student will feel confident, qualified, and excited to begin this next phase in their academic career!

In my 20-year tenure as a high school counselor, I have had the opportunity to develop relationships with many college admission representatives across the country; often it’s these connections that help to simplify the college application process.
I consider myself fortunate to have worked with a diverse group of students from various backgrounds, and I firmly believe that college should be accessible to everyone.

Cari has a gift working with teenagers. Our son, Jack, immediately bonded with Cari and relied on her to answer any questions with his college essay, specific college requirements, the common application, ACT/SAT test information, etc. Jack would text or email Cari at all times of the day and she was very reliable responding back the same day.
Cari also helped narrow down the list of colleges by providing realistic options. She even opened his eyes to a few schools he hadn’t considered. As a guidance counselor for years, Cari has a wealth of information and contacts that she taps into. This helped us determine which colleges were safety, target and reach schools. She provided a wonderful spreadsheet with these schools, averages and important notes. With this information, we were able to plan our college visits accordingly.
We also used Cari as a mediator over zoom to facilitate discussions, answer questions and provide deadlines for Jack. This helped everyone's anxiety and gave us a plan of action.
